Top of the Tree is headed up by Helen Robinson who earned her stripes working for Oldham Libraries as Literature Development Officer. She has vast experience of running successful projects and festivals.

Our hand picked authors ensure that your objectives are not just achieved but exceeded . It is our aim to inspire, to encourage and to entertain people of all ages, sharing with them the joy of self expression through the medium of language.
We passionately believe that communication through writing can enrich lives and promote enhanced understanding of both ourselves and others. Building capacity for empathy and self examination can be a valuable tool for people from all walks of life and in a variety of settings from prisons and hospitals to community groups.
Working with Top of the Tree will give you peace of mind that your project will run smoothly. As well as setting up a booking, we will liaise with writers to ensure they are clear about your individual needs. We will ensure everything is properly organised prior to an event and be there to provide help and advice. We want to help you deliver a quality, professional service through the use of our writers.
Our fees are negotiable based on your individual requirements. However, as a guide, we would generally charge from as little as £300 for a full day, top quality workshop.
